Telegram: Finding a channel - here's what you need to know!

Channels work in Telegram much like you're used to with groups in WhatsApp or Facebook. You can contact multiple people directly through a channel. Whether you create a new channel and invite people to it or you join a channel is up to you.

How to find channels in Telegram

Channels in Telegram are hierarchically one step above conventional groups. In groups, anyone who is invited can and may have a say. In channels, these options are set via permissions. Only selected people are allowed to write.

1. If you have not created a channel yourself or are invited to a channel by people close to you, you can also find a list of all public channels on this page. You can search for specific keywords or channels using the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner. In addition, you can see here directly whether the corresponding channels have been rated good or bad.
2. Most channels in Telegram are in English. So if you have problems with it, the search may take a little longer.
