iPhone X: Remove Bluetooth device - how to do it

You can use all kinds of accessories via the Bluetooth interface of your iPhone X, such as wireless headphones or speakers. Once connected to your iPhone, devices remain stored in the settings. However, you have the option to permanently remove the entries.

How to remove Bluetooth devices from your iPhone

Before you can remove stored Bluetooth devices, you need to make sure that the service is active. Only then will you get a list of the various accessory devices that have already been connected to the iPhone X via Bluetooth.
  1. Open the "Settings" app and go to the "Bluetooth" menu item in the overview.
  2. There you will find a list of all Bluetooth devices. Select the device you want to remove and tap on the info icon next to the entry.
  3. Now select the option "Ignore this device".
  4. Finally confirm by tapping again on "Ignore device". The entry will then be deleted from the list.
If you want to use the removed device again at a later time, you must pair it with the iPhone X again.

Disconnect Bluetooth device - this is how it works

If you do not want to completely remove a Bluetooth device, you have the option to only disconnect it.
  1. Rufen Sie erneut die „Einstellungen“-App auf.
  2. Navigieren Sie zu der Kategoire „Bluetooth“.
