These power options Windows 10 makes available to you

The way to the power options is not complicated:
  1. Make a right click on the Windows icon in the bottom left of the Windows bar.
  2. Go to "System" > "Network Operation and Power Saving" > "Additional Power Settings".
  3. There you will find the "Power Options".
In the Power Options view, you will see two "Preferred Power Plans":
  • Balanced: Here, the power is always adjusted to the demand. This way, you always have full resources available when they are needed, for example when gaming or processing large amounts of data.
  • Energy Saving Mode: The focus here is on saving energy. This also applies when you start several applications at the same time, so it can then lead to performance problems.
Furthermore, you will find the additional option "Change energy-saving plan settings" for both points. There they can specify after what time the screen is turned off and the energy-saving mode is turned on. Quite clearly: users who use Windows 10 frequently can definitely save money through clever energy management.
