Steam: Delete screenshots - how to do it effectively

Steam automatically saves your screenshots in the cloud, so the recordings can never be lost. To clean out the collection, we'll show you how to delete screenshots quickly and easily.

Steam screenshots are quickly created and just as quickly deleted.

Steam's user interface has been optimized over the years, and it shows in screenshot management.

Steam: Delete screenshots in one go

Just follow these steps:

1. First, open the screenshot uploader by clicking "View" at the top of the client's menu and then "Screenshots."
2. The screenshot uploader will now appear as a small additional window. Click on the first image you want to delete, then hold down "Ctrl" to select more images.
3. As soon as you click "Delete" on the right, all selected images will be deleted.

This procedure is convenient if you want to delete multiple images, as it is much faster and more convenient than deleting each image individually. By the way, in parallel, your screenshots are also stored on the PC; if you delete images from the cloud, they will remain on the hard drive and must be deleted there separately, if desired.
