Resetting Stadia Controller to factory settings - how to do it

The Stadia Controller is WLAN enabled and thus the linchpin between Stadia and Chromecast. If you want to remove all WLAN settings, you can reset the controller.

Simply press: Reset the Stadia controller using a key combination.

Resetting the controller returns it to its factory default state. This means that all settings are deleted - including registered WLAN networks.

How to reset the Stadia Controller to factory settings

The following steps are necessary:

1. Turn on the controller.
2. Press the Assistant button (the small round button with the four dots) and the Record button simultaneously for six seconds).
3. After this time, the controller should vibrate and light up on the Stadia button.

The controller is now back to factory settings. This is advisable in various cases, for example, if you want to sell the device.
