PowerPoint: crop image - how to use the function

If you want to crop an image, for example to use a different background, an image editing program is recommended. However, PowerPoint also provides a function with which you can crop images. Make sure that the background is uniform.

How to crop an image in PowerPoint

First open the corresponding presentation in PowerPoint and go to the slide where the image you want to crop is located.

1. Double-click on the image.
2. Now go to the "Image Tools" menu item and select the "Crop" tool on the far left.
