N26 and Revolut have created the niche - and many other companies are now following. Mobile banking is said to be the future, and Boon Planet is hoping for a piece of that pie.

The company behind Boon Planet is not unknown: Wirecard is a globally active payment service provider that is also represented in Germany.

• Boon Planet is the mobile bank account that Wirecard has now launched.
• The features are standard on the market: customers receive a fully-fledged current account whose functions are primarily used via the smartphone.
• In addition, there is a debit Mastercard free of charge.
• The multibanking function is intended to serve as a unique selling point: With this it is possible to enter their own accounts from other banks in the Boon Planet app.
