MILES: How much is the deductible? All info

The deductible is an important factor in the insurance industry and this concerns first of all the car insurance. Read how the deductible is regulated at the car-sharing service MILES.

New drivers pay more: the deductible at MILES varies depending on the duration of the driver's license.

MILES does a few things differently than its established competitors. However, the deductible is standard in car sharing and that's why MILES has it.

MILES: Deductible depending on driver and vehicle

The deductible at MILES depends on both the vehicle class and the duration of driving license possession:
  • For passenger cars, the deductible is regularly 350 euros.
  • For vans, it is 450 euros.
  • It looks different for novice drivers: If you have had your driver's license for less than a year, the deductible is 2,000 euros regardless of the vehicle category.
In view of this regulation, novice drivers should consequently be all the more careful when moving through traffic with MILES.
