SHARE NOW: How high is the deductible?

A deductible is common for all car sharing providers. Since SHARE NOW is one of the biggest and most established names in Germany, it's a good idea to take a look at their insurance policy.

The deductible is a cap that covers drivers against higher damages. Not only because of the BMW fleet of DriveNow, which is part of SHARE NOW, you should know the conditions.

SHARE NOW: Deductible depends on vehicle category

With SHARE NOW, there are two levels of deductible:

• For vehicles in categories XS and S, it is 750 euros.
• In the categories M and L, it is 1,000 euros.

For some cars, there is also the so-called driver protection fee (FSG). This is calculated at a flat rate of 99 cents and lowers the deductible to 250 euros. In vehicles such as the BMW i3 from DriveNow, the FSG is not optional, but is automatically activated with each booking.
