For Windows 10, there are numerous applications that you can download and install. If you need a software very often, then it is a good idea to create a shortcut on the desktop. This way you can open the application directly via the corresponding icon.

This is behind the process "igfxpers.exe"

In Windows you can easily open your task manager via "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "Esc". In the Processes tab, you can view all running programs. Here you will usually also see the entry "igfxpers.exe".
  1. "igfxpers.exe" is a process belonging to Intel Common User Interface Software. In detail, the name means "Intel Graphics Resolution Persistence Module".
  2. This is an exe file, that is, an executable file that can make changes in the computer settings. For example, it is also possible to adjust the screen resolution.
  3. Usually, this process is installed when you connect and use an NVIDIA graphics card.
  4. You can tell if this is malware by looking at various points. Usually, the file is located in the folder "C:\Windows\System32". However, if it appears in a different location, then it may be a malicious file.
