Formula 1: Overview of drivers and teams for 2021

There have been some important movements in the Formula 1 driver carousel. To coincide with the start of the new season, which can now only be seen on pay TV in Germany, we provide an overview of the teams and drivers.

Anything new? The 2021 season offers several different exciting aspects.

RTL will no longer broadcast Formula 1 from the 2021 season onwards, and German fans will have to resort to Sky instead.

Formula 1: These are the drivers and teams in the 2021 season

A total of ten teams will be competing with two regular drivers each:
  • Mercedes: Lewis Hamilton & Valtteri Bottas
  • Red Bull Racing: Max Verstappen & Sergio Pérez
  • McLaren: Daniel Ricciardo & Lando Norris
  • Alpine (Renault): Fernando Alonso & Esteban Ocon
  • Ferrari: Charles Leclerc & Carlos Sainz
  • Aston Martin: Sebastian Vettel & Lance Stroll
  • AlphaTauri: Pierre Gasly & Yuki Tsunoda
  • Alfa Romeo: Kini Raikkonen & Antonio Giovinazzi
  • Haas F1: Mick Schumacher & Nikita Mazepin
  • Williams: George Russell & Nicholas Latifi
From a German perspective, Mick Schumacher's debut season is particularly exciting; in addition, the move of four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel caused a stir. Auch die Rückkehr des Altmeisters Fernando Alonso sowie die neue Konstellation bei Red Bull werden interessant zu beobachten sein.
