AirDroid: How to send photos to computer

Data transfer between smartphone and computer is probably the most important use of AirDroid. In this guide, we explain how you can send any files from your mobile device to your PC.

AirDroid is not only popular on Android. The ease of use, for example when sending files, is the basis for this.

Send from mobile device to computer with AirDroid: This is how it works

The prerequisite, of course, is that both devices are connected via AirDroid. If you then want to send a photo to the PC, for example, it works as follows:

1. Open the AirDroid app on the smartphone. There, under "My Devices", you will see the computer to which you want to send the photo. Tap the entry.
2. It opens a kind of chat window along the lines of WhatsApp and Co. The procedure is consequently the same: Tap the gallery icon at the bottom right.
3. Then select one or more photos to send them.
4. Then tap "Send" on the bottom right.

In the PC application of AirDroid now also open "My Devices". There you select the smartphone from which you sent the photos. You will now see the old familiar chat window and can download the photos there. This methodology basically works with all documents you want to send.
