Disable your laptop keyboard: How to do it
Disabling your laptop's keyboard can be handy. For example, if you only need the touchpad and don't want to accidentally press keys, or if there are children around. The keyboard can be quickly deactivated via a small trick in the control panel.
How to disable the keyboard on your laptop
There is no function in Windows to simply disable the keyboard. However, it is still quickly possible via a detour. To do this, uninstall the keyboard via the Control Panel. Until you restart the laptop, the keyboard is then disabled. As soon as you restart the device, the keyboard driver is automatically reinstalled and you can use the device as usual. If this is too inconvenient for you, you can also call up the virtual keyboard. To do this, press the key combination [Windows] + [l]. This allows you to use a keyboard for a short time without rebooting the laptop. Turning off the keyboard is handy if you want to avoid mistyping.Turning off the keyboard
