How to delete your Google Chrome passwords

Every time you log in, Google Chrome will ask you if you want to save your passwords, account data and co. If you want to delete your previously saved passwords, you can do so in a few steps in your settings.

Google Chrome: Delete saved passwords

Google Chrome gives you the ability to save passwords to websites and access them when you use them again. However, if you change a password, the stored data will no longer be up-to-date. Therefore, if you want to delete a stored password, you can do this in a few steps.
  1. Open Chrome and click on the menu button at the top right.
  2. Select "Settings".
  3. Click on "AutoFill" on the left and then on "Passwords".
  4. You will now see a list of stored passwords. Right-click the three dots to the right of an entry and select "Remove" to delete the passwords from Google Chrome.
Alternatively, you can also go to the passwords section in Chrome to delete passwords there.

Google Chrome: Stop offering saving

By default, whenever you log in to a website, Google asks you if you want the password to be saved.
  2. Klicken Sie auf „Einstellungen“.
  3. Navigieren Sie zu „AutoFill > Passwörter“.
  4. Deaktivieren Sie die Einstellung „Speichern von Passwörtern anbieten“.
