Just like any other smartphone, your Samsung Galaxy S8 has a security code designed to prevent third parties from accessing your phone. The more complicated the code, the lower the risk of it being cracked.

If you want to change the PIN of your S8, follow these steps:

1. First go to the home page, that is, to the home screen of your smartphone.
2. Then go to Settings and then to the option "Biometrics & Security" or "Device Security". This is located relatively far down in the menu.
3. When you are then in the menu item, you need to scroll down a bit again. You do this until you get to the item "Other security settings".

2. Wählen Sie keine naheliegenden Kombinationen wie 1234 oder 1122 aus.
3. Nutzen Sie ein Passwort anstatt eines Zahl-Codes.
4. Teilen Sie niemandem mit, wie Ihr Passwort oder Ihr Zahl-Code lautet.
