Even though the Nintendo Switch was designed to play video games, many users would like to be able to use the console to stream Netflix as well. But there is no app for this from the popular streaming service yet. Thus, it is possible to open Netflix on the Nintendo Switch, but playing videos does not work, because an HTML5 player and the Silverlight plug-in are missing.

1. If you still want to open Netflix on the Nintendo Switch, please navigate to "Settings" > "Internet" > "Internet Settings" and click "Change Settings" next to your WLAN.
2. Set the entry "DNS Settings" then to "manual", enter "045.055.142.122" as the IP address and click first on "Next" and then on "Connect to this network".
3. After you have clicked on "Continue to Google" in the next window, the secret Switch browser opens and you can search for Netflix via Google and log in there with your login data.

There are also other streaming apps for the Nintendo Switch. In Germany, however, only the YouTube app is available of these so far. To install YouTube on your Nintendo Switch, please open the Nintendo eShop, search for "YouTube" and click "Proceed to Download" to download the app.
