Disable Android Camera: These options are available

More and more people are afraid of the excesses of Big Data. Due to the great distrust, numerous smartphone cameras are even taped off. We explain how to disable your Android camera.

Officially, the camera is only active when you consciously use it - but that's no longer a guarantee after quite a few data scandals.

Android: Disable camera necessary individually for each app

Android doesn't give you the option to completely disable the camera(s) at the touch of a button. After all, this is possible for each app individually:

1. Open the "Settings" and there "Apps".
2. In each app you can see under "Permissions" to which functions the app has access.
3. Remove the permission to use the camera to all apps where the camera is allowed by switch.

This procedure is not complicated, but because of the large number of apps quite cumbersome. Help is available from third-party providers in the form of special apps, but no permanently reliable statement is possible here, because the apps often disappear from the market after some time.
