OK Google App - what the Google app can control

The smart assistant from Google is controlled with voice commands. This allows you to control various devices and apps. So you can find out what the weather will be like, which soccer team has won, or just ask nonsense questions and wait for Google's answer.

How is the voice assistant activated in the Google app?

1. If you do not have the Google app on your smartphone, download it from the Play Store and open the app.
2. Now go to the bottom right on the three small dots and then continue to "Settings" > "Voice Input" and under "OK Google" on "Voice Match".
3. Activate the option "Access with Voice Match".
4. Now you can start the assistant by opening the Google app and say "OK, Google" or click on the microphone icon. You may also be able to say "Hey, Google."
5. Once you have enabled the option in the app, any commands you make will be stored in your Google account. If you want to delete them again, you can do that on Google's Activity webpage.
6. To do this, go to "Other Google Activities" > "Voice Match sign-in" > "View data" on the left side of the webpage.
