Whether by credit card or direct debit, real money is usually the only option at Amazon. Amazon Coins, however, deviate from this rule.

This is what Amazon Coins are for

Amazon Coins were created for a specific purpose:

• With Amazon Coins, you can make digital purchases, such as apps and mobile games. Even within the apps Coins are possible as a payment method.
• The conversion: 100 Coins are equal to about one euro. The exact rate depends on the package purchased. The larger the Coin package is, the more Coins you get per euro.
• Sometimes there are promotions where you can save extra money with Amazon Coins.

The purchase of Coins runs through the normal store of Amazon. Here you will find, for example, 1,000 Coins for 9 euros. The Coins are credited to your account after purchase; to use them, you must consequently be logged in on your tablet or smartphone with the same Amazon account.
