Uplay: delete account - these steps are necessary

Uplay is a gaming platform from Ubisoft. With it, it is possible to buy games from the publisher and manage them through your library. However, if you no longer need your Ubisoft account, it is possible to delete it.

How to delete your Uplay account

In order to use the Uplay platform without restrictions, you need an Ubisoft account. After that, you can buy, install and launch games through it. If you nevertheless no longer need your account, you can delete it again. However, there are a few points to note here.

1. First go to the account page with your browser and log in there with your email address and password.
2. Then scroll all the way down to the "Close my Ubisoft account" section and click "Close".
3. Note that you will no longer have access to your Ubisoft games afterwards. You also have 30 days to reactivate your account. After that, it will be irrevocably deleted.
4. Now you will be shown various information associated with the deletion of your account. Read them carefully before you continue the process.
5. Confirm the information in which you activate the option via the check box. Next, click on "Close my account".
