Disable FaceTime - step by step explanation
If you have FaceTime set up on your iOS device or Mac, you can use the app to make free video calls. However, if you don't need FaceTime at all, it is recommended that you disable the feature. Read here how to do that on Mac and iPhone.
Disable FaceTime: This option is available on iPhone
If you don't use FaceTime on your iPhone, you can easily disable the feature. You have the choice to turn off FaceTime completely or to disable only for individual contacts.- To disable FaceTime completely, please open the Settings app, tap in this on the entry "FaceTime" and disable the function by moving the slider.
- If you want to disable FaceTime instead only for selected contacts, this is possible by tapping under "Settings" > "FaceTime" on "Locked".
- Tap there then on "Add contact" and select the person you want to block from your phone book, so that all email addresses and phone numbers of the contact are blocked.
