1. For the Chrome download, you only need a reliable source. Therefore, choose a website that you trust or download the browser directly from Google.
2. Once you have chosen the Google website, click the blue "Download Chrome" button.
3. After that, the download of the exe file already starts. This is only 1.3 MB at the moment.
4. Once the download is complete, double-click on the file to start the installation.
5. The installation takes only a few seconds, after which you can use the browser directly.
6. Chrome usually asks you if you want to set this as the default browser and directs you via the button to the "Windows Settings" and the "Default Apps" section. Here, scroll down to the "Web Browser" entry and click on it. Then select "Google Chrome".
