Configuring a laptop: How it works

When you buy a laptop, you can not only purchase already assembled devices, but also choose the individual components of your laptop. This process is called configuration and allows you to purchase exactly the device you need. Note, however, that a configured PC is quite expensive.

You can probably find the best example of how to configure a laptop at the website "One.de". There you can choose from a variety of models and make a lot of customization options.

1. Switch to the website and look for the category "Notebooks" on the left side.
2. Now you can further switch to "Gaming" or "Allround" to already set the first basic components accordingly.
3. Once you have decided on a model, perform a click on "Configure and order".
4. Now you see a list of possible components that can be installed in your laptop and are compatible with each other.
5. By clicking on a checkbox, you add the component to the laptop.
6. On the right, the total price is listed.
