iPhone: Rotate pictures - how it works

The smartphone is now with you everywhere. Precisely because of this, you can use the integrated camera to capture special moments in a photo. If you have held the camera at an angle in the process, it can happen that the image is also rotated by 90 degrees. On the iPhone, however, you have the option to rotate pictures afterwards.

This is how you rotate pictures on the iPhone

If you are currently experiencing a special moment, you can capture it with the camera of your smartphone. If you have to do it quickly, rarely pay attention to the orientation of the device. So it can happen that the captured image is also twisted. However, the iPhone offers you options with which you can also subsequently turn the image.

1. Open the photo app on your smartphone and navigate to the image you want to rotate.
2. Tap on the image to display it in large view.
3. In the upper right corner is the "Edit" button. Click on it to show the tools. These appear at the bottom of the screen.
4. Select the icon here, which consists of a square with protruding lines and two arrows.
5. Click on it to switch to the appropriate mode.
6. You can now crop the image, but also rotate it.
7. To do this, click on the top left of the square with the arrow pointing around the corner of the square. Das Bild wird nun bei jedem Tippen um 90 Grad nach rechts gedreht.
