Pictures in series: How to create an Android slideshow

The classic slideshow has a new lease on life in the digital age - made possible by today's generation of smartphones. On Android devices, you don't even need an app for it, as the function to create images in series is built into the operating system.

With an Android slideshow you create your own photo series.

How to start an Android slideshow

Vacation, wedding, Christmas party, bachelor party: there are many occasions suitable for a slideshow. With your Android, you only need a few finger movements to start the show.Proceed as follows:

1. Open the gallery and there the folder whose pictures you want to play as a slideshow.
2. In the options at the top of the screen, tap the menu icon with the three dots and then "Slideshow".
3. Android now prepares the photos for the slideshow. Before you press "Play", you can still set the parameters under "Slideshow Settings"

There you have the following options:

• Transition effect (for example, smooth or with fade)
• Speed
• Filter effects such as sepia, grayscale or classic
• Music to accompany the slideshow

Then tap "Play" and enjoy your pictures in automatic run.
