Copying and printing on Windows and Mac

Copying content and printing it is among the most common executions when using a computer. No matter what operating system you are working with, copying and printing documents and images can be done with just a few clicks and using several possible input combinations.

Copying and printing in Windows

  1. With a Windows PC, you can copy and print using both the mouse and the keyboard. By pressing the key combination "Ctrl + C", the content you have marked will be copied automatically. Alternatively, after marking the content, you can right-click your mouse to access the copy function.
  2. To print content from web pages or application programs such as Word, press the key combination "Ctrl + P". This will take you directly to the printer function. As with copying, however, you can also perform this command by right-clicking the mouse.

Copy and Print on Mac

  1. In the context menu, select "Duplicate" to copy the selected content. Alternatively, on the Mac, you can easily copy content using the key combination "Cmd + C".
  2. Print your document using the combination "Cmd + P" or open the document and select the input command "Print" from the "File" menu at the top of the screen. Nach der Einstellung der von Ihnen gewünschten Druckoptionen bestätigen Sie den Vorgang mit einem weiteren Klick auf „Drucken“.
