iPhone X: 4k video - how to record with UHD
In Apple's iPhones, very good cameras have been installed for a long time so that you can record in good video quality. Since the iPhone 6, the devices can also record in 4K. With an iPhone X, it is even possible to record at double the frame rate, i.e. especially smooth.
How to create a 4K video with iPhone X?
In order to record in 4K, you must first enable the corresponding feature on your iPhone.- Go to the settings by opening the corresponding app on your phone. This is marked by a gray gear icon.
- Now tap on "Camera" here. You will find the settings for normal recordings under "Record Video" and the settings for slow-motion recordings under "Slo-Mo Recordings".
- For a 4K recording, you need to activate the "High Efficiency" setting under "Formats". Now you can select "1080p (240 fps)" and "4k (24 fps & 60 fps)".
- Keep in mind that these video formats require a lot of storage space. One minute in 4K at 60 fps takes about 400 MB, or just under half a gigabyte.
