Can you connect multiple devices with Bluetooth?

If you use a Bluetooth speaker, then it is usually only possible to connect it with one transmitter, such as your smartphone. If, on the other hand, you want to pair multiple speakers, then this is only possible in a roundabout way. For this you need, for example, two smartphones.

How to connect multiple devices with Bluetooth

If you want to connect multiple Bluetooth devices with one transmitter, then this is not possible directly. However, you have various procedures to choose from, these all lead to the desired result in a roundabout way.
  1. One possibility is to use the apps SoundSeeder Music Player 2.0 and SoundSeeder Speaker, which you install on two different Android smartphones. Then, for example, you connect two speakers to one smartphone each. In addition, the smartphones must be connected to each other to enable a simultaneous exchange between the apps.
  2. Also possible is the use of a so-called splitter. This you get for 30 to 60 euros. So it is possible to send simultaneously to two Bluetooth devices. A splitter can be connected to the smartphone in various ways, in most cases this works via an audio cable.
  3. Let the devices connect via AirPlay from Apple with your smartphone or iTunes, then you can also pair multiple speakers. Diese lassen sich dann über das entsprechende Menü in der Software aktivieren. Klicken Sie hierfür auf das AirPlay-Icon innerhalb von iTunes.
