Google: Turn off privacy notice

Google is the largest search platform in the world. As soon as a question plagues you or you need some guidance, you Google for it. The term googling was first developed because of the fame of the search platform. But sometimes it happens that a privacy notice takes the screen first before the actual process.

How to remove privacy notices?

If you don't want to see the annoying privacy notices from Google anymore, you can remove the notice permanently. However, should you turn off the privacy notices, you will no longer learn what data Google stores about your search queries.
  1. Once the privacy notice appears, you can view and read through it by clicking "View". With the button "I agree" you confirm that you have read the provisions and agree with them.
  2. Once you click on "I agree", the privacy policy disappears and a cookie is placed in your browser to confirm that you have confirmed the provision. Delete your cookies when closing the browser, then you will be prompted again to confirm the provisions after a restart.
  3. You have two ways to get around this. Either you log in with your Google account or you enable cookies to be stored in your browser.
  4. You also have the option to click on "More options". In the following window, you can then adjust the privacy settings. However, this only works if you are logged in with your Google account.
