iPhone X: Headphone jack - where is it hidden?

Even new users will wonder about the latest smartphone from Apple. Where is the headphone jack? What was previously an absolute standard on most smartphones is now slowly coming undone and being replaced by a new connector.

iPhone X: where to find the headphone jack

Since the iPhone 7, Apple's smartphones no longer feature a standalone headphone jack. Nevertheless, you do not have to do without listening with headphones.

1. In the latest iPhones, it is now the case that you need a special adapter to connect headphones, whereby you can switch the jack to Lightning.
2. In the iPhone, there is now namely only one port and through this the smartphone is both charged and connected to other devices.
3. In the iPhone X, the corresponding adapter is not supplied and must therefore be purchased separately.
4. Currently, the adapter is available original from Apple for about 10 euros.
5. From other providers, however, the cable can be purchased at auction significantly cheaper.
6. This circumstance initially led to increased displeasure among customers, because at the high starting price of over 1.300 Euro ein zusätzlicher Adapter schön gewesen wäre.
