If you want to set Ecosia as your homepage, the procedure depends on the browser you use:

• In Chrome, open the "Settings" and then "On startup". There you set the option "Open specific page or pages" and enter ecosia.org
• In Firefox, first open the Ecosia website and then drag the tab to the house icon to the left of the URL field, which stands for the home page.
• Edge users open "Settings and more" and then "Preferences". There you will find "Set the home page", where you can enter the Ecosia address.

The next time you start your browser, as well as when you open a new tab, you should now land directly on Ecosia and can enter a search query there.
