Setting Startpage as your home page in Android: How to do it

Android is known to like collecting data. You can at least halfway counteract this with an anonymous search engine.

How to set up Startpage as your home page in Android

Since most Android users rely on Chrome as their browser, the following instructions refer to the Google browser:

1. Open Chrome and tap on the three dots in the top right corner.
2. Select "Settings".
3. In the "Basic Settings" section, tap "Startpage".
4. Check that the startpage is enabled with "On". Then enter startpage.com as the address.
5. Tap Save at the bottom.

Startpage is now set as the home page in Chrome for Android. For other mobile browsers like Firefox, the procedure is very similar, and the home page settings are always quick to find.
