Spotify: redeem gift card - how it works

If nothing else, iTunes vividly demonstrates how popular gift cards are for digital purchases. Spotify knows the need as well and makes redeeming as easy as possible for you.

Spotify: Redeeming a gift card made easy

You can redeem a Spotify gift card in less than a minute:

1. Call spotify.com/redeem.
2. Sign in with your Spotify account, if you haven't already.
3. Enter the code in the space provided and confirm with "Enter Code."
4. If you still have an active subscription right now, the gift card for Spotify cannot be redeemed. Just let the subscription expire and only then redeem the code.

These gift cards exist

The amount of the gift card will be directly credited to your account and you can use it to renew your premium subscription (or family subscription). Spotify gift cards exist in four price variants, which are always based on the price of the premium subscription:

• 10 euros equals one month.
• 30 euros equals three months.
• 60 euros equals six months.
• 99 euros equals twelve months, savings: 20 euros.

The amount you received, however, is freely available to you. So you are not necessarily bound to the premium subscription. For example, you can subscribe with the voucher card for Spotify Family or Spotify Duo and would have a balance left.
