iOS 12: Set split screen - how it works

With version 12 of iOS, some innovations have been added. Among other things, various applications are now no longer triggered by the home button, but by gestures. Also new is the option to use different apps in split-screen. This is particularly helpful and practical for applications such as Safari.

Many applications can be used in parallel or even split in the screen without any problems thanks to the new multitasking system. However, the split screen is even more practical.

1. First you need to make sure that the device is in landscape mode, otherwise no split screen can be used.
2. Open Safari and create a new tab.
3. Hold the tab with your finger and select the option "Open in Split View".
4. Now your tabs are displayed side by side and you can use various new options.
5. You can also activate the split screen by holding down any link on a web page and selecting the "Open in Split View" option there.
