A browsing history, called a history, is made every time you search through Firefox. This stores all the web pages you have visited. If you are not the only user on your PC and do not want outsiders to be able to see what you have accessed, I recommend deleting the history.

Delete History in Firefox

How to delete history in Firefox browser:

1. Open Firefox and click on the menu in the top right corner.
2. Then select the "History" category.
3. Now a new menu opens, in which you select "Delete recent history".
4. You can then select for which period of time your history should be deleted.
5. Use the item "Category" to delete individual data from the history.
6. Finally, confirm your selection with "OK" and close the window. The browsing history has been deleted for the specified period.

Delete history automatically

You can also set the browser to automatically delete the history.

1. To do this, open Firefox and click in the menu.
