Spears are particularly versatile weapons, as you can use them equally in melee and ranged combat. On top of that, there are many variants. Our guide summarizes which spears you can use in Green Hell.

Hunting in Green Hell is much more effective with ranged weapons. A spear should therefore be built right at the beginning.

Green Hell: These spears you can use

The common feature of all spears is that you need a long stick to build. This can consist of either normal wood or bamboo - you will thus really find everywhere.

• The simplest spear variant you build only from a long stick (normal or bamboo).
• Significantly stronger for fishing, hunting and fighting is the four-pronged spear. For this you need a long wooden or bamboo stick, a rope and two small sticks.
• In addition, there are the stone, bone, obsidian and metal spear. The principle of construction is always the same, except for the tip of the blade: a long stick and a rope are combined with a stone, a bone, an obsidian or a piece of metal. The metal spear does the highest damage of all spears.
• Optionally, you can capture the tribal spear from natives by defeating them in battle.

It is recommended to build a spear as early as possible, because it can be used as a ranged weapon when hunting. Always try to hit animals in the head, otherwise injured animals can escape with the spear. In this case, you will need to build a new spear.
