Green Hell: Building a bow with arrows - how it works

In Green Hell you have various weapons at your disposal. For hunting, the bow is the first choice and that's why our guide explains how to build a bow including arrows.

With a bow and arrow armed, you can safely strike from a distance.

Hunting is a mandatory part of Green Hell. In addition to hunting, bows and arrows are also suitable for combat. All the more reason to know how to make them.

Green Hell: Bows and Arrows Made Easy

You can build a bow at the very beginning of the game, since you don't need a blueprint or any special resources:

• You can build a simple bow by combining a long stick with a rope. This is possible at the very beginning and advisable from the time you find feathers to be able to build arrows.
• You can also build a bamboo bow following the same pattern: Here, a long bamboo stick is used together with a rope.
• For simple arrows you need a small stick and two feathers each. Feathers can be found in bird nests or get from birds.
• Later you can also make metal arrows. These cause more damage.
• Even better are bows and arrows of the natives. These you get by killing the tribal warriors.

Keep in mind that you can pick up missed arrows. This is important because you usually do not carry arrows in abundance. This applies both to arrows that did not hit their target and to arrows stuck in dead animals. Because of this, it's worth killing even small animals like spiders or scorpions, as this will increase your bow skill without losing arrows.
