Charging the Honor 20 inductively - is that possible?

By default, the Honor 20 is charged using the included USB cable and power adapter. However, many newer smartphones now also have a function to inductively charge the included battery. Find out here whether this is possible on the Honor 20.

Inductive: These are the options you have to charge the Honor 20

Since the Honor 20 does not have an inductive charging feature, it is not possible to charge the device wirelessly. If you need to charge the battery of the Honor 20, this is therefore only possible via USB cable.
  1. Connect the included cable to the USB port of the Honor 20 for this purpose and connect the other end either to the suitable power adapter or a USB port of your computer.
  2. If you have connected your Honor 20 to the PC for charging, it is additionally necessary that you select the correct USB connection mode.
  3. To do so, please open the settings of the device, tap "Touch for more options" and select the "Charge only" option to charge the phone's battery via the USB cable.

Charge Honor 20 inductively: How to increase battery life

Even though the Honor 20 has a powerful battery with a capacity of 4,000 mA, you can make some settings to further increase battery life. To do so, first open the device's phone manager and tap the "Battery icon". In this menu, you can now look for power consumption issues under "Optimize Battery Usage" and improve the device's performance. If the battery level of your Honor 20 is already low, you can also activate the energy-saving mode or the ultra-power-saving mode there.
