The WLAN password is needed to establish a wireless connection with the internet router. If you don't remember your password but are connected to the WLAN network, you have several methods to choose from to display it.
Show WLAN password: These methods are available
If you do not remember your WLAN password, you can display it via the control panel of your PC. However, the prerequisite for using this method is that your computer is currently connected to the WLAN network whose password you want to view.- In a first step, please open the Control Panel of your Windows 10 PC and navigate to "Network and Internet" > "Network and Sharing Center" in it.
- Then click on the name of your WLAN connection and select the entry "Wireless Properties" in the window that opens.
- Switch there to the "Security" tab and check "Show characters" to see your WLAN password in plain text.
