To connect the HomePod with your Apple TV and use it as a speaker for videos and music that you play with the Apple TV, some conditions must be met. For example, the connection is only possible if both Apple devices are logged into the same Wi-Fi network. In addition, you need at least a 4th generation Apple TV and the HomePod must already be set up, so that it works with the pairing.
