RimWorld: Rank and increase skills by talent

In RimWorld's skill system, skills are increased exclusively through practice. The assignment of tasks is therefore all the more important. The following should be noted:

• Decisive for the rate of increase is the talent of your colonists for the individual skills. These are displayed without flame, with one or with two flames.
• Without flame, the default speed is 35 percent.
• With one flame, the speed increases to 100 percent.
• Two flames stand for a strong talent - the rate of increase is a whole 150 percent.

As far as possible, you should thus always assign your colonists according to their talents. The flames are even more important than the current skill level, because high levels can be reached faster with a lot of talent. The level, in turn, determines the efficiency in the work process. For example, a doctor with a high skill level has a much higher quality of treatment - you should definitely take advantage of this.
