iPhone: Record phone call - how to do it

It is possible to record a phone call on the iPhone. However, for this you need the appropriate app from the App Store. In addition, you need the consent of the person you are talking to for the recording. The secret recording of the call is not allowed.

There are several apps for recording iPhone phone calls. Unfortunately, however, most of them require a fee. The app TapeACall is available for free for seven days for testing. After that, you pay annual one-time fees.

Example: How to record a call with TapeACall Lite

Keep in mind that the person you are talking to must agree if you want to record a phone call with your iPhone.

1. Download the app TapeACall from the App Store and install it.
2. Open the app and follow the further instructions to register with TapeACall Lite.
3. After registration, it is possible to record the call on every call.
4. Open TapeACall Lite during a call on your iPhone and tap on the red dot.

6. In the conference, you will now see both the name of your call partner and TapeACall.

Open the app and tap the play button to play a recorded call from your iPhone. If you tap the share button at the bottom right, you can send the recording as an email, for example.
