Android 9: Change font color - how to do it

The different smartphone manufacturers have different setting options. The functions are usually the same on all Android devices, but they differ in the names for the menus. If you want to change the font color, this is currently only possible for certain apps under Android 9.

How to change the font color on Android 9

If the design of your Android operating system is too boring for you, you have the possibility to adjust various aspects individually. Changing the font color is not directly possible on Android at the moment. However, you can change the color via an Android launcher. Alternatively, since the latest Android 9 "Pie", there is also the Dark Mode, which ensures that everything is displayed darker and the font color is also adjusted accordingly.

1. First, download the free Nova Launcher from the Google Play Store.
2. Open the app and go to the settings.
3. Click on "App Overview" and then on "Icon View".
4. Under "Label" you can now change both font and font color. Wählen Sie unter „Farbe“ die gewünschte Farbe für die Schrift aus.
