Android Q: Transfer screen - this is how it works

If you have taken a large number of videos and pictures on vacation and now want to share them with your family and friends, the small cell phone screen is only suitable for this to a limited extent. For this reason, it is possible to stream the smartphone to a TV or another monitor.

How to stream your screen on Android Q

To stream your smartphone's screen, it's best to use a streaming device like Nexus Player or Chrome Cast. Both can be purchased on the Internet already at a small price.
  1. Now, if you want to stream your screen to another device, first connect the streaming device.
  2. Now open the Settings app on your smartphone and go there to "Connected devices" > "Streaming". The option "Streaming" can be added to the quick settings.
  3. Now you will see a list of all streaming devices. Tap on the appropriate device and the screen should be streamed to the device.
  4. If you want to stop streaming again, simply swipe down from the top of the screen and tap on the "Disconnect" option.
  5. Streaming should now stop.
