How to install Opera Portable on your USB stick

If you would like to use the portable version of Opera, you must install it on a USB stick. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Opera website in your browser.
2. Click "Download now" in the top right navigation to download the installation file.
3. Connect a USB stick to your computer.
4. Run the installation file and click "Options".
5. Select "As standalone installation (USB)" in "Install for".
6. Set the USB stick as the installation directory and, if necessary, activate the option "Import bookmarks and data from the default browser" if you want to take your data with you.
7. Click "Install".

Now open the USB stick via Explorer, you will find a launcher that you can use to start Opera Portable.

Advantages of Opera Portable

The great advantage of portable software is that it can be used even on computers where the installation of new programs is not allowed, such as public computers in a library.
