Whether in free play or in the campaigns, the start of the game is especially important for beginners:- New sectors are important to let your cities grow. The more sectors you connect, the more resources are generated: This makes research go faster and you have more resources for unit production.
- Build new units directly in the beginning, even if they are not strong yet. You need units to take sectors, collect resources and defend yourself. With each successful battle, your units gain experience and become stronger.
