This is how Steam Remote Play works

To Steam Remote Play you should know the following:

• Steam Remote Play is aimed at games with local multiplayer mode.
• For this, the players traditionally have to be in the same room and on the same device - with Steam Remote Play, this is exactly no longer the case.
• The owner of the game can share the multiplayer mode via Steam namely. The teammates only need an input device and a display device. Installed must be the game only at the host.
• For fellow players Steam Remote Play is consequently a kind of multiplayer cloud, since the game is streamed via the Internet from the host to the guests.

In practice, the feature is easy to use: Once you start a game, right-click on people in your friends list and invite them. Die maximale Spielerzahl hängt von der Internetverbindung ab; bei hoher Bandbreite sind sogar mehr als vier Spieler möglich.
