Using Amazon Prime without a credit card: Here's how

Whether for shopping or for Amazon's video offer - Prime members have to deposit a payment method in any case. However, the credit card is not the only option to pay for the subscription Amazon Prime.

In addition to the credit card, you can pay at Amazon and Amazon Prime with the following payment methods:

• Bank collection from checking account
• Purchase on account (applies only to shopping products, not for Amazon Prime Instant Video)
• Action and gift vouchers from Amazon
• In contrast, payment by PayPal, check, cash on delivery or advance transfer is not possible.

Do you want to use a different payment method when ordering with your Prime account, simply go to the checkout. Here you can select the desired payment method.

Use Amazon Prime without a credit card: How to create a new bank account

When you first subscribe to Amazon Prime, you will automatically be asked for your preferred payment method. Follow these steps to set up a bank account for payment from an existing Amazon Prime subscription:

1. Log in to Amazon with your account information.
2. Hold your cursor over "Account and Lists" in the top right corner.
3. Click "My Prime Membership" in the right section of the menu bar.
4. Then click at the top, where Ohre next payment is, on "Manage payment type > Change payment type".
5. Now specify your bank account.

Your bank account is now deposited with Amazon and you can use the service without a credit card. If you have a credit card on file, but no longer want to use it, you can click it under "My Account" > "Your Payments" and delete it.
