Valheim: Making mead - how to make it work

Met is known among medieval fans as a drink for merry hours. In Valheim, the drink serves a much more practical purpose. We explain how to go about making it.

The right drink for every purpose: mead is extremely versatile in Valheim.

To make mead, you need honey (as explained in more detail here), a cauldron and a fermenter. You can make the cauldron as soon as you have tin, the fermenter requires 5 bronze, 30 precious wood and 10 resin.

Place the cauldron then over a fireplace.

• Click on the cauldron to see various recipes. Among them are many recipes with mead as a base.
• This way you can decide what purpose you want your mead to serve. This can be, for example, frost or poison resistance. In addition to honey, you need for the recipes other ingredients such as blueberries, thistles or dandelions.
• From the kettle you then get the mead mixture. This now comes into the fermenter and is issued after some time as mead.

With the mead recipes you can perfectly prepare for certain situations, such as the cold in the mountains, if you want to farm the materials for the wolf armor.
