Valheim: How to make the porcupine

Black metal can be used to make the strongest weapons in Valheim, but not a blunt weapon. To compensate, there is the porcupine, which lives up to its name. Read how to make it.

The porcupine is a morning star and for this reason alone the weapon is something very special in the arsenal of Valheim. The fact that no black metal is needed for its production is also positive.

To make it, you need a level 4 forge and the following materials:

• 5 precious wood, 5 needles, 10 linen thread, 20 iron
• The special feature of the weapon is that it deals both blunt and stab damage (50 and 45 at level 1).
• About upgrades (which are possible in three more levels), the stabbing damage increases to 51, 57 and 63. The slashing damage remains the same.

Overall, the porcupine thus provides a high damage value, which, however, always varies from the opponent because of the division. After all, there are no opponents against whom you do extremely low damage with the porcupine, as either slashing or stabbing effectively reach the target.
